Not sure that everybody’s lungs are the same size. Seems like a guy Brock Lesners size would have bigger lungs then BJ Penn.

It may not be highlight, but a 5 round thrashing is more dominant that a quick KO or Sub (unless the KO comes like the Silva/Franklin type). Honeslty bro do think GSP doesn’t try to smash his opponents? As you have watched GSP his career you know that he is primarily a G’n'P fighter with an alround game - The only fights basically struck on his feet were with Heiron and with Hughes when he won the belt. Other fights he strikes and then explodes for the TD and G’n'P and tries to get mount and sub

NO - a 5 round domination shows they aren’t in his league. The result would be the same if they fought again. A KO or Sub means one person got caught (they still lost and got beaten) but anyone can make a mistake and get caught - but when someone lays an absolute beating on you for 5 rounds and you couldn’t do anything against them that shows a fighters dominance. Finishing a fight doesn’t mean you are a better fighter - winning does. Enjoy the warrior spirit of a hard fought full match

Also, the fact he couldn’t finish Fitch, Alves, Kos is more a testament to their fighting spirit than GSP not finishing them. He tried, beat the living tar out of them but couldn’t finish. Given he absolutely smashed them actually gives creedence to his dominance - I mean look at Serra GSP 1 - Serra finihsed GSP so what does that mean? he won but GSP destroyed him in the rematch. But do actually think that Alves or Fitch could really smash GSP in their rematch shold they get it?

Fair enough mate, I was wrong to call you out - my appologies. I am Canadian too and have watched GSP since his first fight with Menjivar back in his TKO days. But c’mon bro if you think he does not go for finishes look at his strike rate plus submission attempts on the ground - how could he not be going for the finish? he is punishing the guys with G’n'P, plus he always improves his position with gaurd passes - that is going for the finish.

Further, the fact that he does dominate these decisions indicates all the more that he doesnt go for finishes, he can dominate guys so much by lying on them so then why not go for a submission or actual TKO? He used to be exciting on his feet and on the ground..now he’s so afraid to lose or even get punched in the face that he’s becoming boring.

Just because you disagree with me doesn’t mean Im a casual/unknowledgable fan I’ve been following MMA since UFC 1, I didn’t just start when it took off in the last few years and I knew who GSP was before he was in the UFC- I’m Canadian. Maybe I should have specified, I meant his career since getting TKO’d by Serra. 6 fights and only guys he could finish were Hughes and Serra- BJ doesnt count cause he coulda come back out if he wanted and lost the 5 round decision.

You clearly are a casual MMA fan who obviously does not understand the sport. GSP doesn’t try and finish? um yeah great observations on your part. 13 Finishes to 6 decisions - not to mention the dec’s were all one sided dominations. Learn the sport first then comment

what does georges need a muay thai coach for? all he does is take down people and lay on top of them while not showing any real interest in actually submitting or finishing them…and some retards called anderson boring based on 2 fights when in reality he’s by far the most exciting guy in the sport, somehow scared to get hit pierre is still a poster boy?
